Description

Handcrafted matcha bowl (winter chawan) made of beige speckled ceramic stoneware. Its shape is specific to a winter chawan, being taller and more compact to retain the temperature of the matcha tea for a longer time.

Glaze: Organic cream glaze made from recycled stoneware and reclaimed wood ash. Finish: Natural, raw. This unique glaze is created in-house using recycled ceramic materials and reclaimed wood ash, giving each piece a natural, organic character.
Color: cream (intensity and shade of glaze may vary from one ash batch to another), with a natural, raw appearance

Care instructions:
- Wash before first use with warm water and a mild dishwashing detergent to remove any dust or residues from transport.
- Although stoneware is highly durable, we recommend handling each piece with care. Place items gently in the sink or dishwasher and avoid overcrowding to minimise the risk of chipping.
