The POEMI Capsule at the Bucharest Design Festival

The POEMI Capsule was conceived as a meeting place for people and objects: handcrafted ceramic pieces, taken out of their usual context at the dinner table at home and displayed in a new setting, alongside other Romanian design brands present at the festival. At the PAMANT MANA FOC dinner, POEMI’s ceramic totems visually defined the evening’s atmosphere, highlighting the texture, weight, and slight imperfections characteristic of handmade pieces—precisely the elements we value most in everything we do.

Earth, hand and fire, three words that describe, moreover, exactly the path of each object POEMIextracted and shaped clay, the potter's hand giving it form and the kiln's fire transforming it permanently. Bucharest Design Festival gave us the opportunity to tell this story differently than we usually do: not in the workshop, but on a lively evening, entirely dedicated to our community.

Admission to Capsula and the dinner was by invitation only (the 50 invitations reserved for the POEMI community were picked up from the store before the event), and those in attendance were able to get an up-close look at the pieces on display, in a setting designed specifically for this evening.
