We invite you to a contemporary ritual of stillness, presence, and reconnection.
The Silent Hour This is an intimate experience where you discover the beauty of imperfection through the Japanese art of Kintsugi – the technique of repairing broken objects, transforming cracks into story and value. Inspired by wabi-sabi philosophy, Kintsugi reminds us that imperfection should not be hidden but honored, and the marks of time can become the most precious details.
In the spirit of quiet luxury, true luxury means time for yourself, authentic tranquility, and meaningful gestures. We invite you to a rare moment of conscious presence, where simple attention and gestures feel truly special.
Based on your registration, you will come to the POEMI showroom, where you can bring a dear, broken object from home that you wish to repair, or you will receive or choose a broken POEMI object, like a unique puzzle. In a space without distractions, without phones, and without rush, you will try to reconstruct it using Kintsugi kits.
POEMI offers you a sanctuary of digital disconnection and human reconnection, transforming time spent in quiet or dialogue into the most precious form of discreet luxury:
– the experience of patiently and skillfully restoring both fragile objects and the depth of connection between people.

The Silent Hour is an event that's part of the BDF GO! program., the central pillar of urban exploration within Bucharest Design Festival, a format that encourages us to explore Bucharest on foot, street by street and neighborhood by neighborhood. It's an invitation to step into local businesses, meet new people, and experience a completely new relationship with the city.
